Title: An Englishman’s Home
For me, having a camera on my person at all times means that when the opportunity for a photo appears, I can take it - instead of thinking afterwards ‘that would have made a nice image, I wish I had my camera’.
So here is one of those moments. This bloke didn’t look like your typical caravan enthusiast but it was parked outside his small house and he was guarding it. I did not hang around to find out why.
I spot the opportunity. Unlock my phone (QuickPix is usually open and ready). Raise and shoot two frames and move on. Later I cropped square in Snapseed, then applied slight drama filter to lift the shadows a bit. Next vintage filter style 3 with texture at zero and saturation boosted.
