Title: Girl out of Reach
Edit process: Shot with Hipstamatic using the Watts lens and Pistil film. I used Declorizer to make it back and white and just leave the red. Took the image into Snapseed and used the selective adjust tool to remove areas of red that remained in the trees, by desaturating them.

Title: Two by the sea
Process:
Shot with Hipstamatic using the new combo of Americana/US1776. I felt the result was too low contrast so I took the image to Snapseed where I increased the brightness and ambience. Then in Camera+ I added the antique filter.

Title: ‘the beach, the people, the pier’
Description:
Now i’m back in Christchurch and this is my new beach, but it’s an old beach, I’ve been here many times before because I grew up in this city. The pier wasn’t here when I was a little girl.
The original pier was built in 1894 then demolished in 1964. This one was built in 1987 when I was 13.
I loved that there was so much happening here today, there were buskers and a kite festival. It was a feast for the eyes indeed.
Process:
Shot with Hipstamatic using the Hornbecker lens and dc film. I created the contrast and black & white with Noir photo.

Title: Live the life you’ve imagined
Process:
Shot with Hipstamatic using John S/RockBW-11.
In Snapseed I cropped the image and applied the grunge filter, focusing on the bird in flight. I darkened and increased the contrast too. Added the border, also in Snapseed, then took it to Camera+ and gave it the Ansel filter to go back to black and white.
